SpecSwap
SpecSwap is a program which we use to align our packages with our customers. This program applies to all Single, and Multi-Account (Shared & Reseller) packages.
Generally speaking, our packages have a 1:20 ratio between space and bandwidth. This is adequate for a majority of our customers. In some cases, a client does require more space, or more bandwidth - for this reason, SpecSwap exists.
SpecSwap allows you to replace x MB of disk space, for x MB of bandwidth in a 1:10 ratio; that is, every 100MB of disk space, or 1,000MB of bandwidth can be swapped for either 1,000MB of bandwidth or 100MB of disk space. There is no limit as to how much can be swapped.
For instance. if the package you are looking at has 500MB of space, and 10,000MB of bandwidth, you can swap 100MB of the disk space, for 1,000MB of bandwidth, and the package would then be 400MB of space, 11,000MB of bandwidth. On that same plan, you could swap 4000MB of bandwidth, for 400MB of disk space and the plan would then be 900MB of space, and 6,000MB of bandwidth.
To take advantage of this program, simply make a note of how you would like your resources allocated in the "Comments" section of the order form.
